Canada is home to a large and growing Arabic-speaking community, especially in Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Mississauga, Calgary and Edmonton. We help clients across Canada with Arabic translations delivered online.

Translations for IRCC applications

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) requires documents not in English or French to be submitted with an English or French translation. If the translation is not done by a translator certified by a Canadian provincial or territorial association, it must be accompanied by an affidavit from the translator, sworn before an authorized official (such as a notary public or commissioner of oaths), confirming the translation is accurate. You also submit a copy of the original document.

Our translations for IRCC include a translator's affidavit sworn before a notary public. Always check the instructions in your specific application guide.

Other Canadian uses

  • Degree and transcript translations for universities and credential assessment (WES Canada, ICAS and others)
  • Arabic documents for provincial licensing bodies
  • English to Arabic translation for Canadian businesses and community organizations

Some provincial bodies and courts insist on a translator certified in that province. Confirm before ordering.

Apostille

Canada joined the Hague Apostille Convention in 2024, which simplifies authenticating Canadian documents for use abroad, and foreign documents for use in Canada, between member countries.
