Arabic to English translation
Clear, faithful English translations of Arabic documents from any country and any era, certified whenever you need it.

Most of our Arabic to English work is for use in the United States: immigration filings, court cases, university admissions, employment and healthcare. The translation has to be accurate enough for an official to rely on it, and clear enough for an English-speaking reader who knows nothing about the source country.
What we translate from Arabic
- Personal and civil documents: birth, marriage and divorce certificates, family registers, IDs
- Academic records: diplomas, transcripts and course descriptions
- Legal documents: judgments, contracts, powers of attorney, police records
- Medical records from hospitals and clinics abroad
- Business documents: commercial registrations, financial statements, correspondence
- Audio, video and social media content. See transcription.
Documents from every Arabic-speaking country
Document formats, terminology and even date systems differ between countries. We regularly translate documents from Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Sudan, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. North African documents often mix Arabic and French; we translate both into English.
Certified for official use
For USCIS, courts and government agencies, every translation comes with a signed certificate of accuracy. Where needed, the certificate can be notarized.
Names, dates and places
Arabic names can be romanized in many ways (Mohammed, Muhammad, Mohamad…), and many documents use the Islamic Hijri calendar. We follow your passport spelling and show Hijri dates as written, with the Gregorian equivalent where it helps the reader. Details in our guide to Arabic names and dates.
